Step-by-Step Preparation & Jarring Instructions

1.The Vegetable Preparation :Uniform slices maximize brine absorption.

Thoroughly wash all your fresh produce. Keep the skin firmly on the English cucumbers to preserve their high concentration of antioxidants and fiber. Using a sharp chef’s knife or a mandoline slicer, cut the cucumbers, red onions, and sweet bell peppers into thin, uniform pieces so they soak up the pickling liquid at the exact same rate.

2.The Rainbow Jar Layering :Distribute colors and herbs evenly.

Take a clean, wide-mouth 32-ounce glass mason jar. Begin packing your vegetables tightly into the jar, alternating between the green cucumbers, the purple red onions, and the bright orange and yellow bell peppers. Toss the chopped fresh dill and optional jalapeño rings f-l-wst (in the middle) as you pack to ensure flavor distribution throughout the matrix.

3.The Brine Formulation :Dissolve the brine without boiling raw ACV.

In a glass measuring cup or a small saucepan over low heat, combine the raw apple cider vinegar, water, maple syrup, sea salt, whole black peppercorns, mustard seeds, and optional turmeric. Whisk vigorously until the salt and natural sweeteners dissolve completely. If using heat, ensure the mixture remains lukewarm; boiling will destroy the live enzymes and beneficial bacteria present in raw ACV.

4.The Submersion & Chilling Phase :Submerge completely and allow to mature.

Slowly pour the golden brine directly over the layered vegetables f-l-9r3a (in the jar). Use a clean silicone spoon to press down firmly on the vegetables, ensuring they are completely submerged beneath the liquid line. Tightly seal the jar with a non-reactive lid and store it f-l-tllaja (in the fridge) for a minimum of 1 hour before consuming. The flavors will deepen and peak after 24 hours of cold marination.
