Step-by-Step Layering and Preparation Instructions

1.The Warm Custard Cook Phase :Form the rich chocolate bases.

For the dark chocolate layer, melt the dark chocolate with 200ml of milk in a saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth (whisk in a tablespoon of cornstarch if you prefer a thicker pudding texture). Let cool. For the white layer, melt the white chocolate with the remaining 200ml of milk, or whip up a thick vanilla pastry cream and chill thoroughly.

2.The Sweet Whipped Chantilly Prep :Build the aerated crown.

Pour the ice-cold heavy whipping cream into a chilled glass bowl. Using an electric hand mixer, whip the cream on medium speed until it starts to thicken. Sift in the 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar and continue whipping on high speed until you achieve stiff, pillowy peaks. Transfer to a pastry bag.

3.The Assembly and Chill Phase :Assemble the architectural layers.

In a large glass serving dish or individual dessert cups, crumble your chocolate sponge cake or lay down your cocoa biscuits, lightly brushing them with milk to moisten. Pour the white chocolate cream evenly over the base. Gently pour the cooled dark chocolate cream on top. Refrigerate f-l-tllaja (in the fridge) for 1 hour to set, then pipe rosettes of chantilly cream on top and sprinkle generously with the toasted, crushed hazelnuts before serving.
