Step-by-Step Restoration & Care Guide for Vintage Glassware

1.The Warm Solvent Soak :Loosen stubborn tar and carbon buildup.

Place your vintage glass holder in a shallow glass bowl. Pour in enough isopropyl alcohol (91% or higher) or warm vinegar to completely submerge the piece. Let it soak for 20 to 30 minutes to dissolve the sticky, hardened tar deposits that have collected inside the narrow glass chamber.

2.The Detail Scrub & Polish :Clear the narrow internal channel.

Use a soft pipe cleaner dipped in fresh alcohol to scrub the interior of the tube, paying special attention to the narrow channel around the glass pinch. Avoid using metal wire or harsh abrasive pads, which can scratch the interior glass and weaken its structural integrity over time.

3.The Hot Rinse & Air Dry :Reveal the brilliant glass finish.

Rinse the holder thoroughly under hot running water f-l-kuzina (in the kitchen) to flush away any remaining cleaning agents or debris. Place the cleaned lufka vertically on a soft towel to air-dry completely before displaying or storing it in your collection.
